Acer Presents RTX Spark PC with 128 Gigabytes of Memory

At IFA 2026, Acer presented the SFF RTX Spark, a compact AI workstation PC based on Nvidia’s RTX Spark platform, specifically targeting systems like Apple’s Mac Studio as competition.

The system combines an Nvidia Blackwell graphics unit with up to 6,144 CUDA cores and a Grace central processor with up to 20 cores into a unified RTX Spark superchip. According to Acer, the system thereby achieves up to 1 petaflop of AI computing power in FP4 format. A central feature is also an architecture featuring up to 128 gigabytes of shared memory between the central and graphics processor, which is intended to avoid classic memory bandwidth bottlenecks between the two components. Acer is targeting the device specifically at content creators, AI developers, and gamers who require significant local computing power without being reliant on cloud infrastructure.

This allows for a combination of computing power and data privacy, as demanding AI models and autonomous digital assistants can be executed directly on the device itself instead of transmitting data to the cloud.

Acer has not yet provided specific details regarding price, dimensions, power consumption, or alternative memory configurations; according to the company, a market launch is planned for a later date. Based on promotional images published so far, at least an HDMI port, an RJ45 Ethernet port, and four USB Type-C ports can be identified, through which the device is also powered.

According to several tech publications, the actual price is likely to be quite high given the high-performance Nvidia hardware used and generally increased memory prices. Tech magazine TechRadar also expressed skepticism about the device’s specific target audience, noting that the information published so far focused almost exclusively on pure AI metrics, even though Acer is simultaneously marketing the device to gamers.

The RTX Spark superchip itself is based on an Arm architecture and was originally unveiled back at Computex 2026. In addition to Acer, according to Nvidia, other manufacturers are also developing their own devices based on the same platform, both as compact desktop computers and sleek Windows laptops.
