Meta is launching its own smart glasses priced at $299, without Ray-Ban branding. The models feature longer battery life and the new Muse Spark AI model.

Meta has introduced its first smart glasses that drop the traditional Ray-Ban branding. The starting price for the new models is $299, making them cheaper than the second-generation Ray-Ban Meta glasses. The design and manufacturing partner remains eyewear company EssilorLuxottica. The internal technical specifications match those of the Ray-Ban Meta Optics Styles series released in March 2026, although the new in-house models offer slightly longer battery life.

The lineup is divided into three different design variants. The “Adventurer” model features thinner edges and a square shape, while the “Fury” model has a wider, more bulky frame. The “Kylie” variant is designed in an early-2000s fashion style and sits lower on the bridge of the nose. The camera lens appears visually smaller than in earlier Ray-Ban predecessor models, as it uses a camera technology introduced in March for prescription optical glasses.

Integration of the New Muse Spark AI Model from Meta

The new glasses ship with the language model Muse Spark, the first development from Meta’s in-house Superintelligence Labs. This software environment will also be made available via update for older Ray-Ban and Oakley glasses in the US and Canada.

The system is designed to enable smoother and more natural interaction with the integrated Meta AI, reducing rigid response patterns. With the update, the AI also supports 14 additional languages, including Arabic, Japanese, Mandarin, Hindi, and Korean.

Among the functional updates of the displayless glasses is step-by-step pedestrian navigation delivered directly via audio output. In addition, the manufacturer is integrating a “dynamic photos” feature at the end of June 2026. With this function, the camera automatically captures multiple images in a rapid burst and then suggests the best frame for the user to save.
